I don't like the Jud- sound, and for that reason I don't like Judith or Judy either. Or most of the Julius names, the only exception being Juliet where Shakespeare is a more powerful influence than my usual prejudice.
As a matter of interest, do you have the same warm, pleasant feelings about Judah?
