"B " twins
Two good friends of mine who are twins are named Brittany Nicole and Bethanny Michelle. WDYT of the spellings, and do you like them together? I always wondered about the two N's in Bethanny."If you train hard you'll not only be hard, you'll be hard to beat."

Hey!My name is Brittney Nicole! I don't really like the way they spell Bethanny (I like Bethany or Betheny).

You're right. I was also born in the 1970s and Brittany / Brittney didn't come along until later. I remember being about 10-11 years old and adoring the name Brittney, this spelling. :) ~Heather~

Back in the 70's -- which is my era -- the name wasn't as popular as it is now.

Too "twinny" as far as I'm concerned. And the extra N in Bethany makes it worse as well. Even if they weren't sisters, etc., I greatly dislike all 4 of the names involved anyway. Sorry. :-/Edited to change "two" to "too" :b

If I had a nickelfor every Brittany Nicole (or Brianna Nicole, *extremely* popular) I've helped deliver at the hospital...I'd have, oh, I don't know, like $14.85 or so. Haven't seen Bethanny with 2 Ns, but I don't like it any better than the usual way. I don't have any objection to the twin thing, I am much more easy going about twin names than most folks here at BtN, but I do object to Brittany and Bethanny (or Bethanny) just on principle! Can't stand either, sorry. And Nicole is so tired as a mn, it's only outdone by Rose, imo.~Lillian~
