Reese
WDYT of Reese, for a girl? Too Witherspoon? What would you use as a middle name? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

It reminds me of candy - Reese's. Maybe also of cheese.Reese Ronja
Reese Rhonwen
Reese Yolande
Reese Tiamat
Reese Brynhild
Reese Norma
idkRhys seems likable, for a guy.
Reese for a girl sounds like R + a common ending. Like Patrice, Bernice, or French Alice, but then it'd be Rice, lol. Rhiannon "Ree" or Theresa "Reese" seem like they have more substance. It's not a name I care about enough to really dislike, but I don't totally understand the appeal of it.

Regarding the Witherspoon angle, Reese Witherspoon was born Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, but the actress decided to be called Reese, her mother’s maiden name. It’s a southern (US) tradition which I find lovely.
I do prefer the Rhys spelling if the naming does not involve a namesake.
Reese Camille
Reese Adele
Reese Renee
Reese Colette
Reese Sheridan
Reese Helene

I don’t like the spelling Reese as it reminds of the word Grease.Reece is ok. I prefer Rhys. It is ok on a boy and I think it is a great name with an awesome meaning, but I love Rhys for a girl.I’d opt for a very feminine middle to pair her with.Rhys Eliora
Rhys Octavia
Therese nn Rhys
Rhys Eleni (to honor grandmother helen)

I hate it, for a girl.
It’s marginally better for a boy.Reese Victoria, and call her Victoria. Lol.

It's okay, but for me it's a bit bland. There are only a handful of one-syllable names I like in general. Some combos that come to mind...
Reese Olivia
Reese Corinne
Reese Ophelia
Reese Willow
Reese Laurel

I used to know a guy who had kids named Alex (m) and Reese (f).
It seems kinda normal trendy surname name to me. I don't like it, but it's not too Witherspoon, and I feel it's unisex.Names that end in an S sound can be hard to combine with middles ...
I wouldn't use initials K, T, M, N, L, F, SH, TH, D, P, Q, S ... G is iffy
vowels could work. R, V, H, J, Y, B power name middles
Reese Victoria
Reese Alexandra
Reese Vivian
Reese Helenawordy middles
Reese June
Reese Ruby
Reese Amity

I don't mind Rhys for a boy, but Reese for a girl is terrible. And I think of peanut butter cups. Reese Victoria, natch.

I like it better for a boy, but it just makes mr think of Reese’s peanut butter cup.

A friend of mine has twin daughters named Reese and Riley. (Their older sister is Makenzie.)I prefer Rhys, and for boys. Reese puts me in mind too much of the candy, and yes of Reese Witherspoon, as well. Neither are bad associations necessarily, but they're there. If I had to name a daughter Reese, I'd probably name her something like Reese Juliet or Reese Annabel. Give it something a little more obviously feminine to balance it out.
