Leora
I was flipping though a magazine and saw this name Leora and thought it was very pretty. It's almost like a combo of Leonie and Laura. Leonie to me is a family name and Laura I like but is really too plain. What is your opinion?

Leora and Liora are both very pretty.

I think it's gorgeous spelled Liora, and would certainly work to honor the family members.

I love all of those Leo- Leon- names, and this one is fantastic. I don't like Liora that much, the 'E' is better!

I prefer Liora. It's a very pretty name, though.

I really like it! I love L names... I like Lyra, Liora and Lorraine, so this seems to fit in!

I didn't even make the Liora connection till I read Isla's response. I far prefer Liora or Liorah ... Leora looks made-up to me._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I have both Leora, Leona, and Leola on my long list and can never decide which one I like best. Today I think Leola. All three remind me of lions, which I like. :)

I've seen Leora, too, but I think it might just be a variant or alternative spelling of Liora. Either way, both are pretty, imo. It could work for you in honoring a family member, too. ~Heather~
