Ryder & River sibset
Just met two sisters, 4 (?) and barely crawling baby aged named Ryder and River. Was actually kind of surprised, at first I thought I was just mishearing the first kids name.

It'd be cooler if it was River and Zoraida. Or even River and Rain would be better.

River is nice; I like it fine on any gender.Ryder on a girl, though... I understand that if kids are going to bully someone, they'll do it no matter what the name, but I feel like Ryder is just asking for trouble.

They're much to similar and masculine.

I don't like Ryder at all. Even with that spelling, the insinuation is - questionable at best.I prefer the spelling River as masculine and Riva as feminine.

River's not bad on a girl, but I prefer it for a boy. I have trouble picturing Ryder as a first name on either sex, but on a girl it's really unfortunate.

I'm fine with River on a girl but I think Riverleigh/Riverlyn is better.
Definite no on Ryder for a girl.
Cody has two nephews named Ryker(7) and River(5) so I guess knowing that makes this bothers me a little more.

I like River for either sex.
Hate Ryder, though, and I think it's worse on a girl.
If I were Ryder and my sister were River, I'd be pissed.

I don’t mind both for boys, but hate them for girls. Ugly.

I’ve known and know female and male Ryders and Rivers.

I'd never have guessed this post would be about 2 girls... I don't like either name for a girl, but I suppose River isn't too bad.
