I love it! René is in my top 5 for a boy. Yes, in English speaking countries, Renée for females is more common, but even English speaking people have heard of a French or Hispanic René, so that shouldn't be a big deal! It stands out more as a FN, but I enjoy it in the middle spot as well.
My favorite combo would be Rene Gabriel. That's truly international. Angelo Rene sounds VERY Hispanic. I prefer Rene Truman this way around, it flows better.
