Sullivan (Sully)
WDYT?
Do you prefer on a boy or girl?
Any combo suggestions?

I like Sullivan a lot...not enough to use but still. It's better as masculine, imo.
Seems similar to names like Robin, Dorian, Solomon, Emerson, Donovan, Everett, Sawyer
Sully reminds me of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman in a way that's dorky, and it coinciding with the word 'sully' makes it seem unfortunate to me.
I think I'd use it with a nature name or something vintage. Coriander, Forest, Jasper, Bernard, Francis. Maybe something like Asher or Oliver.
For a girl, I'd probably still say something naturey or vintage, plus Audra came to mind.

It’s fine, one of the more interesting surnamey names. Sully is cute in sound but has the unfortunate word association).
I prefer it on a boy, but I can see it on a girl also (it’s got softish sounds). I would pair it with a one or two syllable middle name that has hard sounds like k, d, g or t.
