Eh, it's flimsy and dated to me. Kim makes it awful. Kimmie is inane.
It's a 70s/80s name to me, big hair and blue eyeshadow. Of comparable names, I prefer Lindsey / Lindsay or even Whitney. Kimberly is definitely better than Tiffany, which I see as kind of its sister name.

I like it in a GP-ish way, I see it becoming very dated potentially.
I think Kimberly's very pretty. Kim is okay but seems kind of a shame to knock Kimberly down to something so ... blah.
I once read something a little girl named Kimerly wrote and she said her mother named her that because the name reminded her of the sound of wind chimes.
Dawn Kimberly
Rose Kimberly
Allison Kimberly
Joy Kimberly
Samantha Kimberly
Shannon Kimberly
Vanessa Kimberly.

It makes me picture a blonde cheerleader from the 90s, though that's not a bad thing. I've known several who would all between 30-45 now, so it does seem dated. I like Kimberly enough, Kim is okay and probably inevitable, and I don't like Kimmy at all.
