I like it, very pretty and much fresher than Lucy. I prefer the “Loo-cee-uh” pronunciation, though. Here are some combos that I like:

I like it a lot. I think it's beautiful. I think I slightly prefer Loo-see-ah better, but I also like Loo-shah.

As a Dane, I’d say loo-CI-a.

Really like it, but it's not at the top of my list. I would like to see Lucia being used more (compared to Lucy).

Prefered pronunciation:
#1 Loo-chee-a (Italian) - noble, just beautiful
#2 Loo-tsee-a (Slavic, German) - the one I'm most used to
#3 Loo-sha (English) - sounds quite spunky, but not as noble
#4 Loo-see-a (Spanish) - I can't help myself, but this sounds like a name from a telenovela

I like the Italian loo-CHEE-uh. It's gorgeous and I like the nn Lucy.

And then there's loo-CHEE-ah. Too complicated; not worth it when lovely Lucy is so available and so easy.
