Of the 80s names, it's far from the worst. It doesn't scream neon and hair spray like Tiffany does, for example.
I think it's ok. I've known so many that it's become almost a familiar sound instead of a name. Nothing about it excites me or disgusts me. Jessie is an adorable nickname, much better than Jess.
