It reminds me of boy in my class at primary school. He was shortish with red spikes hair and freckles. I think his mum was Irish. At the time I thought it was an awful name haha Nowadays I can see it’s charm :)

I like Niall better than Neil, but it's still not a name I would use. Also, I think a Niall in the U.S. would be mistakenly called Neil a lot.
