Was this post inspired by the 1D reunion rumours?(@_@)

No, actually. I’ve heard about that and am a fan but I just like the name too :)

It reminds me of boy in my class at primary school. He was shortish with red spikes hair and freckles. I think his mum was Irish. At the time I thought it was an awful name haha Nowadays I can see it’s charm :) Niall Alexander is very powerful combo! Niall Jacob makes the name more sweet country, which has its charm as well (biased)

Greatly prefer it to obsequious Neil! Probably would never use it; too rivery. And I think it needs a Celtic Fringe mn: Niall Patrick, perhaps? Niall Fergus?

It's alright but I think the name 'Niles' sounds better.

I wondered if anybody would bring up 1D :D Are you a fan, or do you just happen to know who he and they are?

I like Niall better than Neil, but it's still not a name I would use. Also, I think a Niall in the U.S. would be mistakenly called Neil a lot.Of your combos, Niall Spencer is the one that I think has the best flow.
