, which almost put me off my lunch. Nice guy; deserved better.
Given enough sons - more than eleven! - I'd consider using
Geoffrey
for its wonderfully medieval vibe.

I have to get name spellings correct as part of my job, and have found that
Jeffery
is not uncommon in the US.

Yeah, my dad's name was spelled
Jeffery
, which I always thought was a weird spelling.
