It reminds me vividly of the gravy powder called Bisto. Not sure which parts of the world it is sold in, so perhaps Ms Bistany is not at risk of Wavy Gravy jokes.

I googled it and it’s a surname. Makes sense, since that’s exactly what it sounds like. If I had to guess I’d bet this one actually comes from somewhere within the family, since it isn’t common. That would make it slightly more palatable to me than some random surname, but I’ll still always dislike last names as first names.
