Edward
I’ve grown quite fond of the name Edward lately and I’m seriously considering it for a future son. But I don’t know if it’s still too heavily associated with Twilight. WDYT?

I like it, I find it classic, but distinctive. Ned is a charming nickname. It doesn't make me think of Twilight.

It's a good name, and I wouldnt worry about Twilight

No, definitely not what I’d think of. I just think of kings of England.

It's one of the most classic, enduring names in the Western world. It could never be too heavily associated with a single phenomenon.I like it, but it needs a flashy middle name to add verve. I'm thinking of Edward Balthazar, Edward Saverio, Edward Cosimo, Edward Leofric, Edward Hyacinth, Edward Casimir, Edward Makepeace...

Not too heavily associated with Twilight imo. I like Ed- names but not the nicknames Ed or Eddy, so I stick them in the middle name spot.

Haven't heard a word about Twilight for years. And Edward has been associated with so many other people, real and fictional, that I really wouldn't worry. It is a good, reliable name with plenty of history and nn possibilities - what's not to like?

It's been around so long and used for so many people that the Twilight association isn't as strong as say, Renesmee or even Isabella/Bella.
It's okay, but I would really want a nn; Edward feels too stuffy for everyday use. Eddie and Ted are my picks.

I read the series as a teen and I honestly never think of it when I see any of the names from it (except for the obvious Renesme). Edward has so many associations that I think very few people would think first of Twilight.I think Edward is a lovely name.
