Although I generally hate surnames on girls, Morgan is an exception. It's not a favorite, but I don't mind it. I actually prefer it on a girl.

There's something about this name that really puts me off. I can't explain it. I just dislike it.

I like it but I always thought it was boring. It is nice though and has a mature sound to it, particularly on a male (maybe I’m just thinking of Morgan Freeman lol). I like it as a unisex name.

I prefer it for a boy too. Maybe because of the show Merlin, but I've always liked Morgana for a girl.

I like it and although I wouldn't consider it ever a top favorite, I still think it's a nice, solid name. And I also prefer it for a boy, although I'm ashamed to say that wasn't always the case. :S

I like it on anyone. It's one of those names that has landed pretty firmly unisex, which is a pleasant and unusual happenstance. Interesting that it's stayed fairly persistently for males (albeit at lower numbers) but for females has been a bit more flash-in-the pan in several regions. I hope Avery goes the same way, although I despair about that one. It has a Y, it must be feminine! Sigh.

I dont like it, yes I think its more masculine

I like it, but don’t love it. I find it to be more feminine than masculine as I associate it with the character from the King Arthur/Camelot story. It’s also quite similar to Morrigan, also female. Morgan has a strong and natural vibe to me.

I always kind of liked it, but never enough to use. It is one of those names that is completely unisex to me, kind of like Jordan. I can see it on both genders.

I've never encountered it on a girl, and I hope I never do - my Welsh great-great-great grandfather, Morgan Davies, would never recover. As it is, I'd use it if I had enough sons.

Morgana could work I suppose, but the character isn't particularly appealing!
