It’s a nice name but the Mean Girls association is a bit too strong. I would recommend Reina as an alternative.

I love it, especially when it is pronounced with a hard "g". It is the name of my great aunt, Regina Veronika.

I used to find it really unpleasant. Now it's one of my favorite names.
I'm still trying to figure out why that is...could be partially because I listen to Regina Spektor so much.

I think it pairs nicely with feminine tree names or with nature names, in general.
It also reminds me a bit of Eugenia, which I still dislike, and Rowena, which I've always liked.
