It isn't a name I'll probably ever obsess over but I do think it's nice enough and I do prefer it to Louise. Eloise is a very tollerable name, in my opinion.

I’ve never really liked it. I prefer the similar sounding Louisa.

I like it very much indeed: much nicer than Louise and, especially Louisa. I'd prefer a link to Helios rather than a link with Elvis, but neither really works.

I absolutely love Eloise, and it’s equal to Elodie for me. They’re both very soft and elegant.

I think it's adorable. I prefer Louisa, but Eloise is still up there. I wouldn't want it shortened to Ellie, though. I know one little Eloise called Weesie, which I think is cute (though I know lots of people don't).

I like it a lot! It’s not a favourite of mine, but I’d love to encounter some little Eloises out and about in the world.

It's cute, but that's about it. Not especially exciting or beautiful and doesn't age very well imo.

I'm not as big on it as a first name (vastly prefer Louisa), but as a middle name it goes with almost anything! So I love it in the middle slot.

It sounds breathy and wispy to me. I much prefer the more substantial Elodie.

I hate it for the same reason I hate Louise: The "weez" sound is ugly as all get-out.

I had a friend in high school named Alison and my mother always used to call her Eloise by accident. Once the phone rang and for some reason I was sure it was Alison, so I picked up the phone and said, "Hello, Eloise", but it wasn't Alison and I was so embarrassed.
