I used to actively despise it, for no other reason than I just didn’t like it. I had no negative associations or anything.

Then my brother told me that if they had a boy, it would likely be named Zane.
So I started imagining a nephew with the name and actually started liking it.
I still don’t have a nephew with the name, but now would be happy with one named Zane.
