Ella Fitzgerald...
...one of my favorite jazz singers and the main reason I like the name. Legendary woman with a beautiful voice. :)

Love it. Beautiful.
Sort of boring, but sweet.
One of my best friends named her daughter Ella, after her grandmother. Her grandmother had always hated the name she went by, and had told my friend that she wished she could have gone by Ella.
So when she had a daughter, she named her Ella.
I supposed that’s why I think it’s such a sweet name? Because the only one I’ve ever known is such a sweet, pretty young girl and the Story off her name is lovely.

Boring, insubstantial, bland, generic, forgettable.
Ella the Elephant, Now and Forever
Now that it's sort of passe, I finally kind of like it. I didn't like it for the longest time. It seems sort of spunky and almost austere to me now.
Very very overused. I know at least three little Ellas. It’s a fine name, nothing wrong with it, but it’s a big old yawn.
It reminds me of all that jazz, flapper dresses, overflowing champagne glasses, and Ella Fitzgerald. Loveee!
It's sweet, but a bit insubstantial.
Flimsy. Nicer than Emma, if only because it's less popular. I would never consider it as a full name, and I'd never use it as a nn.
It's like when I ask someone what their favorite color is, and they say blue. Disappointing but hard to argue with.
Lol, I love this description.
It's ok, a bit boring though
Ella’s a nice name. A bid bland, but very cute nonetheless. I actually used to have a friend named Ella.
