Hannah
What are your thoughts on the name Hannah? I love the sound that it has. What middle names would you pair with Hannah? I thought of Hannah Eleanor and Hannah Ophelia. Thanks for everything in advance!PS- I'm sorry, but I have to ask it! Lilah and Hannah? :-D Thanks.

I love Lilah! I've always preferred it to Lila. :)I used to know a girl called Hannah Renee, which I think it very pretty.-- Sarah

Hannah is one of my favorite girl names. I don't personally think in 12ish years it will be "outdated". To me it's like Elizabeth, I don't think it can go out of style.Hannah Eleanor is pretty.Hannah Ellery
Hannah Ellen
Hannah Bronwyn
Hannah Joan
Hannah Rosalind
Hannah Celestine

I know so many Hannah's under the age of 6. I just can't think of any of their middles. It's a pretty name though....just so many of them!

Do you think that in about 12ish years, when I have children, there will be so many Hannah's? I wasn't sure how it would grow in popularity ;) There are so many!

I think Hannah will be like Jennifer is now. Jennifer is consider so 80's and outdated. Hannah will be that way in 15-20 years. On the other hand I'm starting to like the old 80's names. Jennifer nn Jenny is starting to really appeal to me.

Jennifer never appealed to me. And I have no idea why, because I have a beloved cousin with this name. And I think you're right, that the same unfortunate thing will happen to Hannah.

I just thought a few minutes ago that every Hannah/Hanna that I know is blond with blue eyes. It's still a lovely name even if it is popular.

I adored it about 10 years ago, but it's terribly overused and boring to me now. :( Hannah Eleanor and Hannah Ophelia are both nice. As long as it's a classic, old-fashioned or Biblical name in the middle, it sounds nice to me. But I HATE to see Hannah Taylor or Hannah Kaytlin, which I do quite often these days. Blech. Lilah & Hannah look cutesy to me with the similar endings. Lila / Lyla and Hannah would be better, imo.

I really like Hannah, I think its sweet. I do have a problem envisioning it on an adult, but I think its because the only Hannah that I've ever known is a little five year old girl.I don't really like the way Hannah Eleanor and Hannah Ophelia flow, however, nor do I like Lilah and Hannah as a sibset.Hannah Carmen
Hannah Charlotte
Hannah Isabel

I had to answer this post because my name is Hannah (well, it is Hannah-Sue, but everyone calles me Hannah). First, I think it is a name that might not date so much as other popular ones now because it has been popular for quite a while. The negative side of this is of course that having been popular for a while, everyone knows quite a few Hannahs and one ends up being known as Hannah A., Hannah B., or in my case Tall Hannah.I'm not great at suggestions, but I'll have a bash!Hannah Lisette
Hannah Rosaline
Hannah Charlotte
Hannah Iris
Hannah Odette
Hannah Esme
Hannah Estelle
Hannah Lilac
Hannah Celeste
Hannah Maeve
Hannah Evelyn
Hannah Beatrice
Hannah Delphine
Hannah Eugenie
Hannah MadeleineThe Hannahs that I know have the middle names Louise and Kate.

Hannah is a wonderful, classic name. Hannah Eleanor sounds lovely, however, I think Hannah Ophelia sounds awkward (though I like both names). Same goes for Lilah and Hannah. What about:
Hannah Sophia
Hannah Mae
Hannah Kathleen
For names that go with Hannah, what about:
Sarah
Kathryn
Maureen
Ruby

Hannah's a total yawn at this point, I'm afraid. I can't look at Hannahs in the birth announcements without cringing a little; it's been done to death at this point.Anyway, combos, since the glottal stop involved in saying both Hannah Eleanor and Hannah Ophelia doesn't appeal to me:Hannah Louisa
Hannah Giaconda
Hannah Vivian
Hannah Penelope
Hannah Clare
Hannah Scholastica
Hannah Laurina
Hannah Laurel
Hannah Marian
Hannah Margaret
Hannah Scarlett
Hannah Cordelia
Hannah Lucasta
Hannah Rosamunde / Hannah Rosalind / Hannah RoisinArray

I like Hannah but to me it sounds kinda childish and cutesy. I really couldn't picture it on any one over the age of 15/16. I like Hannah Elizabeth or Hannah Rose for middle names. I think Hannah and Lilah go ok together but are a little matchy.

Thanks! I also wasn't sure how it would age. Thanks for your suggestions :)
