I really like the name Lillian with the nn Lily (one l only since its the name of the flower) or Lillie since its different enough that it doesn't look mispelled IMHO.
I think its a classical sounding name, thats revitalized but not trendy and will last her a lifetime. As of now, its our favourite girls' name, but we will most likely be sticking to just Lily since I don't feel it really needs a more elaborated first name. If we ever decided to go with a longer first name, we would pick Lillian though.
