Re: Beatrice and Lavinia
in reply to a message by Adelle
I, of course, love and adore Lavinia, especially as a middle name. As a middle name, I would pair it with none other than Olga. :) As a first name, I think it works well with Catherine, Margaret, Emily, Chloe, Emma, Patience, Felicity, Mercy, Evelyn, Josephine, Sophie, Eloise, Mary, Stephanie, Eugenie, Eleanor, Nora, Hazel and Zoë.
I'm over the moon in regards to Beatrice. It's a perfect name, IMO. The Italian pronunciation is very exotic and I would love to use it... if I was in Europe. I believe it's the pronunciation used in Danté's Inferno.

I can tell you that it is, indeed, the prn used for the Inferno (Dante being Italian), which is what has me thinking about it. And I, of course, love all prn Italian! :)
I would love Ava Lavinia, but Ava is so popular. Same with Emma, which would be lovely with it from your suggestions. Thanks for the suggestions! :)
What are the convulsions of a city in comparison with the insurrections of the soul?
Man is a depth still greater than the people.
