What do you guys think of the name Kalina? It translates to Viburnum (A flowery root) in Polish and the character I am writing is of Polish origin. She would go by Kali as a nickname most of the time.
I want to say Kalinka instead for some reason. I do the same thing with Marina / Marinka, but I dunno why; it's not like I've heard Kalinka or Marinka IRL.Anyway, I like it, sounds sweet.
