I love Antigone! Unfortunately I could never use this in real life, because there is someone where I work named Antigone, and anytime someone has asked to speak to her they always, ALWAYS, struggle over her name (usually calling her "Anti Gone" or "an-ti-GAHN"). It makes a namenerd and Greek Mythology nerd like me sad. :-(

I also once knew a Flavia, in Uganda. Hearing the name in real life surprised me. (There were actually a lot of interesting names in Uganda. Sylvia, Jacquelyn, Jovianne "Jovia"... also a man named Precious, and a Raphael "Rafi.")

Antigone - I have a lot of respect for Sophocles’ "Antigone." It is also a character in "The Dragon's Tooth" (Ashtown Burials #1).

Auberon - A fun mythological name and Shakespeare approved.
Bertram - Nice. I hope it makes a comeback.
Silvio - handsome in a subtle sort of way.

I adore Antigone, Cornelia, Ambrose, Anselm, Auberon, Bartholomew, Cyprian and Vivian! It's nice to see the last one used as a masculine name. I also have a soft spot for Gertrude.
