Re: Ariadne, Cloelia, Briarly, and Sapphira
in reply to a message by Ava Celeste
I love Sapphira - she's in my own Top 10! Right now I have Sapphira Daphne as the combo, but there's also:
Sapphira Louise / Sapphira Louisa
Sapphira Lauren
Sapphira Jane
Sapphira Julia
Sapphira Giselle
Sapphira Noelle
Sapphira Nadine
Sapphira Danielle
Ariadne is cool and underused, as far as Greek Mythology names are concerned. (I also like the French variant, Arienne.) For the most part, short and sweet pairs with Ariadne well:
Ariadne Pearl
Ariadne Fae
Ariadne Jada
Ariadne Delphina
Ariadne Sera
Ariadne Lola
Ariadne Raven
Ariadne Maris
Cloelia is definitely interesting. Chloe is far more popular today, and I feel like a Cloelia would inevitably be called that in her life - which can be an attractant or a deterrent, up to you. Something really strong should go in the MN slot to offset the frills:
Cloelia Bronte
Cloelia Rose
Cloelia Simone
Cloelia Lourdes
Cloelia Robin
Cloelia Lorelai / Cloelia Lorelei
Briarly is also a surname, right? Unfortunately, I can't say I'm a fan of it in the FN slot - far prefer Briar by itself.
