Opinions on Carrie
WDYT of this name? Do you prefer it as a full name or a nn for Caroline/Carolina?

I think it's pretty. I like it as a full name rather than a nn.

Well I'm sort of biased (although my name is spelled differently)Coming from the prospective of having it as a name on it's own, I like it as a nn better. You've got more options that way when you're older. Hope that helps :-)~ Kari

The forename part of my pseudonym is Carrie-Anne, so I'm biased. I really like the name, and how it means "valourous" (i.e., brave).

Carrie was a name I really liked when I was a kid. Then, I didn't like names the same way I like them now -- I didn't have reasons or ideas about them; I just picked them. It's not on my list now, because my tastes have changed to be a bit more fanciful.I still like it as an independent name, but if it was my own name, I think I'd like to have a longer name "on paper" as well. I like Carolina and Caroline best, but it could also be a nick for Carys, Carole, Carolee, Carina, Caren, or Cara. - chazda

I don't like the name as a full name or nn for anything. I've never really liked it but now I don't even more because of John Kerry. I don't like Caroline/Carolina but I do know two girls names Carolyn and Carinna with the nn Carrie.

What about Kerrigan? Although then the nn would be Kerri, which isn't half as cute as Carrie. I like the name Carinna.
