For some reason, I really don't like the sound of Emily, never have and probably never will. Emma is better as it's a classic but it's also boring. Actually, my favourite variation (although I realise that was not a part of your question) is Emmy.
I think Emma needs a longer MN that spices it up a little but still kind of fits with the classic genre. What about Emma Lorelei? Emma Scarlett?
