It sounds very fay, like the name of a fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream (not just because of the obvious Puck association). Puck is atrocious as a given name, and Holly is quite sweet.

Puck? I think she might get teased with a certain 4 letter word that sounds similar.

I've seen Puck (on girls) show up in popularity charts from the Netherlands... tbh I like it. I prefer Puck on a girl rather than on a boy. It's unfortunate it can't be used in the Anglosphere.

Cute, but it isn't going to work. For the obvious reasons. Not even if you reversed the first and middle names.

Holly is adorable and ages fairly well.I like Puck as a guilty pleasure on a boy. In the US, Huck might work a bit better since not everyone is familiar with Robin Goodfellow, aka Puck.

Oh, I'm sure that will never get mispronounced on purpose or by accident. And I'm sure people will automatically think of the elf character and not any dumb hockey equipment.Sarcasm mode on full.Seriously, this is so stupid for so many reasons.

Nooo! That’s really bad. What were they thinking? All I can think about is how that name might be used one day (hope not).

Taking an uncommon, male name from mythology and use it for a female is frustrating enough. Having said name rhyme with a very unfortunate English word is worse. I often wonder if people are even aware of the history of names that they use. I know someone who named her son Echo and it drives me crazy. I understand that I'm a bit militant about these things but still.
