I think its nice and Cassie is a great nn
Forerunner to Kennedy. I agree with "80's horse girl," lol. It's nms.
It's not bad, as surname-girlnames go. Girlnamey because of the Cass-part and Cassandra.
Cassidy is nicer than Mackenzie, Shelby, and Kacey. Is a little cooler than Lindsay, Sydney, or Madison. Not as firstnamey as Ashley or Avery, but maybe a little more feminine-seeming, to me.

It sounds 80s horse girl to me.
When the internet was new and a thing was to not share your real name to strangers O would call myself Cassidy. I was a preteen then. Now I think its tacky.
I'd expect her to hop along a lot. I'd think of a line of women's clothing, here in South Africa. And I'd wonder a little about her parents.
I prefer other Ca- names more.. Including but are not limited to:
Calliope
Cassandra
Cassiopeia
Cassia
Calysta
Cassilda
Calliope
Cassandra
Cassiopeia
Cassia
Calysta
Cassilda
I don't like it at all. I kind of like it on a boy, actually. I think Cassandra or Cassiopeia is much nicer for a girl. Even Cassia. I'm not a fan of Cass or Cassie for nicknames, so I never gave it much thought.
