And now for something completely different (m)
I hate the name Hannah. It makes me think of two things: An overweight, very plain, mid-nineteenth century woman, in a very drab dark mid-nineteen century dress, with hair parted in the middle and stuck very close to her scalp, which is how all mid-nineteenth century women wore their hair but on her it's even more unattractive than it is on 99% of other women. And second, it makes me think of chicken soup, which I hate. The name Hannah makes me want to vomit.

You know, for a while I had similar associations. The phrase “Hard-Hearted Hannah” stuck in my mind for a long time. But recently, I realized that it is very clean and tidy, and the symmetry pleases me. Thank you for your thoughtfully passionate writing! I enjoy your expressiveness!

To me you have described Susannah, not Hannah.
Well ... I am not actually nauseated by Susannah, nor do I think of chicken soup, but the image you conjure is exact.
