Story, Seven and Sailor
I heard a sibset somewhere with these names and I thought wow what unusual names. I like them and they definitely go together but I personally wouldn’t use them. What do you think?Story (for a girl)
Seven (for a boy)
Sailor (for a girl)

For some reason my brain goes straight to "Winken, Blinken and Nod." Maybe because Story is fanciful and Sailor reminds me of how they "sailed off in a wooden shoe."

Sure they go together, if the bearers are a litter of puppies or kittens. On human beings they're just plain ridiculous.

They’re kind of silly to be honest.

I get soldier, poet, king vibes from this, though that's probably just me. I really like the sound of these names together with the repeating s sound. These names sound great for a fiction story, especially fantasy, but for actual living, breathing people... probably not.

Story is my mother's maiden name. I hope to use it as a middle name. Seven is odd to me on any gender. Sailor works, I guess, because there are so many occupation names, but I personally wouldn't use it and don't see the appeal. I guess it's because I know many sailors in real life.

Story - While I wouldn't use it myself, it is fun and whimsical.
Seven - Septimus is more dashing. Sven would also be better.
Sailor - The boring one of the set. Sailor isn't a bad occupation, but, for a connection to the sea, Maris, Nerissa, or Asherah would be more interesting.

I remember saying I can't see any as a name at all but... Sailor (f) has grown on me ._. I think I said I can only see it as a nickname in the same vein as Skipper or Junior, but honestly Sailor is cute

Hi !!!These are not the worst names ever.I personally like Story for a girl.Seven is not my style but if we think of names like Primo, Octavia, Septimus or Nona so we can see that numbers are not a crazy idea. Well..ordinal numbers are better than the cardinal ones, with this I agree with you. Sailor is better on a boy because on a girl is too cartoonish (Sailor Moon). Occupational names are quite common everywhere. Mason, Fabrizio, Lynch, Monica, Cohen, Heinrich ... Why not Sailor?
