I personally dislike Noa for a girl. It sounds better on a boy and as far as using it...who knows. If I never do (meaning in real life because I did use it for one of my characters) it won't be due to it's popularity, provided if the name is still resting high on the charts by then.
I don't mind the spelling of Noa but I do prefer Noah. It just looks more familiar and complete. More natural.
