Not keen; I've got a very pleasant step-niece who was named Holly no doubt because they liked it but mostly it's a name that her profoundly deaf father can, somewhat, say. But it wouldn't have been my choice.
I think it's the sound, mostly: I don't enjoy Dolly, Molly, Olly, Wally ... though perversely I love Polly. No explanation! And also all the holly-and-ivy merry-Christmas-cheer, lumps of cottonwool on shop windows, impersonating snow when it's in the 80s, which doesn't get my juices flowing either.
