Pearl is my number one girl's name and currently one of the only girl's first names on my list. I have a ton of middle names for it and I'm not sure which actually work and which are just on my list because I'm convinced Pearl sounds great with everything. I'm aiming for something "cozy". Pearl is very sweet, I really like it too. But you totally got me with one combo in particular, Pearl Alma. Alma was my maternal grandmother’s name (who was like my 2nd mum and who I adored) and we had the combo Jemima Pearl Alma on our list when we were expecting Eden. Ultimately we decided that since our boys didn’t have honouring mns, we wouldn’t give Eden one. We didn’t want to rock the boat with my MIL, who has 5 granddaughters and none are named after her! We did choose an A mn on purpose though, as our way of honouring both my maternal grandmother and my DH’s maternal grandmother who both have A names. The other combos I love are Pearl Ada, Pearl Amy, Pearl Avia, Pearl Esme, Pearl Esther, Pearl Freya, Pearl Johanna, Pearl Martha, Pearl Sarah, Pearl Sophia and Pearl Ursula.

Perla is pretty but I 100% disagree about Pearl being harsh. Isn't it funny how differently we can view a name. :)Thank you!

I definitely agree on a few you feel flow best and are coziest. Love your suggestions! The one that stands out the most for me is Pearl Junia. I love the name Junia and was always fond of St.Junia so it's pretty meaningful to me. Thank you!

I love Pearl, but I like it better as a middle name. Of your combos, I like Pearl Amy and Pearl Emily the best.

Thank you! I'm always glad when someone likes some of my combos and I love your suggestions. :)Pearl Amber is really sweet! Amber definitely fits the warm, cozy vibe I'm going for but are the names too much together given both of their use in jewelry?

Yes that’s what I thought, it is very jewellery themed! They sound very nice together but I also wondered if maybe it was a bit too much.
