Rose
Wdyt? I personally find it terribly boring and I think that people use it as a middle name far too often

I love it as a middle name and would consider using it.
Boring and sentimental. Once I met a woman whose name was Rose White, and not even that could cheer me up.
I think it's nice
Well... it's my own middle name - as well as both the middle name of my maternal grandmother (which her siblings actually called her since they couldn't pronounce Wynona as kids), and the first name of one of my paternal great-grandmothers (she was Rose Marie).
Growing up, I didn't like my middle name, at all. I thought it had a rough sound - actually, I thought the entirety of "Erica Rose" was a rough sound. Oh why couldn't I have had a name like Emily, or Stephanie, or Tiffany, or Sarah? (In retrospect: I'm very glad none of those uber-popular names were my own. Erica was popular enough!) It didn't help that Rose, or more accurately Rosy, was what my mom usually called me. But I grew into my name, as most people do.
Yeah, sure, it's a bit filler as a middle name, but it's not the most common one I've come across (looking at you, Ann/e and Lynn and Marie). As a first name, however, it's quite refreshing, and I'd like to see it on more little ones. (I think Lily and Violet are the trendy flowers right now.)

It's used a lot. I think it's a lovely name with a lovely meaning, but I think people's ears kinda just skip over it because they've heard it so much. I think that's a shame, because again, it's beautiful.
I absolutely agree that it's overused as a middle name, it's one of my pet peeves because it seems so tacky (especially when paired with another flower name) and wasteful.
Rose is much more beautiful and refined as a first name, but I struggle with liking it because it sometimes feels hollow and incomplete.
