Hi !!!Clay is far better than Clayton for sure.I think it could work for a boy thanks to similar names like Barclay or Clyde. The meaning is strange: here in Italy 'clay' is argilla that is not a given nane at all (and if It were so a feminine name). But Clay has a simple, solid and sunny sound with a country vibe.
