I love it when it's spelled Caspar. The -er ending looks weaker to me.
I think alliterative names are memorable so I wouldn't hesitate to use Caspar C.
I think Caspar and Hector (or Casper and Hector) sound great together, and aren't too similar at all.
But I'd change the cat's name, or at least start calling it Jaz instead of Jasper.
