Sorry, but I hate it on just about every level. I hate surnames as first names to begin with, as I think it’s a trend that’s going to sound very dated in the future. But I especially hate them on girls.But more than that, the name is loaded with the idea of a kid whose family can’t care for them for various reasons (death, being unfit), and who gets shuffled from place to place. Many kids do just fine, but the system often leads to neglect, abuse, self-esteem issues, and acting out.
