Off topic but I just wanted to say you have sooo many good names as middle names. I’d almost let you name my daughter :p

OMG thank you! I'm deeply flattered. I'm 29 and gay and single and can't quite conceptualize having my own children ever, so I would loooove to name others' babies. :) :) :)
Haha you’re very welcome! Wouldn’t that be a great job, helping couples name their baby! If it’s not already out there we should create it.
A friend of my sister’s is gay, single and now has a son (thanks to a befriended donor). And she’s 40 I think, so don’t ditch the children thing. You never know!

The meaning doesn't bother me, I really like Lydia which has a similar meaning.
I am not sure that the pronunciation you gave would occur to me, the Z sound feels a bit unnatural. I want to say it to rhyme with Laura.
I like these combos:
Isaura Beatrice
Isaura Clementine
Isaura Daphne
Isaura Genevieve
Isaura Josephine
Isaura Juliet
Isaura Magdalene
Isaura Penelope
Isaura Vivien / Vivienne

Hi Wordsmith !!!
I agree with the drab meaning. But the sound and the reptile vibe are interesting. It is perfect for a character.
Isaura Tanith is the perfect combo because it mantains the serpentine theme.
I found a "new" lovely name! Blanche + Fleur = Blanchefleur !!!
It is lovely... But not along with Isaura.
And Quitterie? What a tryumphant, mythological and Ancient name! Tranquility, Aphrodite, Phoenicians, red-colour and Astarte!
Wow!! ❤️

This is new to me - thank you for presenting it.
I like this!
For nicknames / short names, I immediately think Ia (long 'I' followed by a short 'a'). Saura - or perhaps even for an affectionate name how about Sia (See/a--long 'e' or, Sia--with a long 'i' vowel sound). I can also see a few other possible shorts. Isaura is a keeper.

I like it if the S is soft. I don't really like it with the "Z" pronunciation because that sounds hard and the spelling looks soft.

I like it, mainly because I love the -aura ending, both in sound and spelling. It’s a very pretty and in my opinion usable name.
sorry dont like this one, I just see I saw her or I saw a
Isaura sounds like a dinosaur, or a lady dinosaur. Or plaural dinosaurs.
Or maybe a Japanese car. Like an Isuzu but more dinosaur-like.
