Re: Josephine
Josephine is very nice, I just don't care for Jo, Joey or Josie. But I do think that these nicknames are avoidable, Josephine rolls of the tongue and can easily be used without a nickname. It seems to be getting popular but not so sure if it will last. It entered the top 100 and I am not sure if it will rise quickly or if it will fall again in a few years. In Canada it entered a while ago but then fell out again. It's one of those names where I don't feel like I can predict the popularity at all, I could see it easily falling out of the top 100 again in a few years but I could also imagine it in the top 20.I think a two syllable middle name works better. However if you love Artemis you should go for Josephine Artemis. I definitely prefer Josephine but if you have a second daughter maybe you want to avoid Artemis in the middle to be able to use it as a first name later on? Not sure but something to think about. Josephine Luna is the best but Luna is getting very trendy.
