Jathy
Was scrolling through Pinterest the other day and saw what looked like a birthday party for a young girl with the name “Jathy” in balloons.
How would you pronounce it?
What do you think of it?
Have you ever heard of it before?

It looks like those 'ship names that people come up with, like Bennifer (Ben & Jennifer), Brangelina (Brad & Angelina) and Jabbie (John & Abbie Duggar). Blegh.
I'd intuitively pronounce it JAY-thee, like Jacey but replacing the C with a TH sound. I've never heard or seen it before.
I don't like it much, by itself, superficially.
Jathibiyya (and a variant) is all that comes up in the database for a feminine name starting with Jath*.

I'd pronounce it like Kathy with a J. Not much a fan of it for that reason.
A quick search turns up a few women named Jathy from different Asian countries (mostly Vietnam and China from what I can tell), so I'm curious about its exact origins.

I would pronounce it similar to Kathy.
It is quite weird and I never heard it before. I would prefer Jessie or something like this, something better known and with a clearer sound. I think Jathy has to explain her name everywhere.
