My nephew is married to a lovely Louanne, and though it still isn't a name I enjoy, it certainly doesn't look as odd and ugly as Lu-Ann. Ruth-Ann is actually even odder as a mn, though I could live with it as a fn quite happily. So, considering Daisy Louanne and Ruth-Anne Chloe as possible options, I think I'd have gone that route. I like Chloe very much, but it's been overused. And hyphenated middle names always puzzle me.
