I love, love, love Farrah. I think it's an awesome name and would love to see it more often (I'm genuinely surprised Farrah Fawcett didn't inspire more birth announcements, particularly around her death).
Fay is a good name, too, though this is my least favorite spelling. I prefer both Fae and Faye.
Fawn is appealing, but a little childish. Dawn has much of the same sound, but is stronger.
Edit: I just remembered, in the movie Get Shorty James Gandolfini's daughter, who I think is only 6 years old, is named Farrah. That's the only other instance of the name in pop culture I can think of.
I also know an Egyptian woman with the name, though she spells it Farah.
