WDYT of Alexandra?
Do you prefer the full name or a nickname? I like the nickname Alexa (even though Amazon has hijacked the name!) or Allie. I knew a girl in middle school named Mary Alexandra, and she was called "Allie". Alexandra, much like Elizabeth, would be a mouth full for a child to say, so a nickname would be helpful.
Top names:
Girl: Emma, Katherine, Charlotte, Mia, and Anna.
Boys: Daniel, Liam, James, and David.

I used to love Alexandra as a kid, but I’ve lost interest in it.
I prefer Alexandria or Alexandretta - I know Alexandra is long enough already for most people and it used to be on my own list but after repeatedly saying it, it started to feel not quite long enough!
I like the idea of Ally, Lexa and Lexie for nicknames.

I think it’s gorgeous. Normally I’d never ise such a popular name, but it’s a family name for us, so it’s a front runner if we ever have another baby. I like the nn Sandy, partly because that’s what my Mom and Grandpa both use(d).
Hi !!!
Alexandra is classic, royal, aristocratic, ageless, evergreen, elegant and refined.
Unfortunately it is also overused everywhere.
Actually I think that Alexandra is better than Alessandra or Alejandra.
At the contrary I much prefer Aleksandra, Alexandrina and Alexandria rather than it.
My favourite nickname for this name (and its forms) are:
1 Alix*
2 Drina*
3 Alya (formally)
4 Sandy (formally)
5 Sasha (formally)
