I really like this Irish name because of the meaning, its origin and its simple sound.
It is the name of a character that I found in the first part of 'Dublin: Foundation' (or The Princes of Ireland: The Dublin Saga) by Edward Rutherfurd. That's my current favourite book.
Because of these ties I find Conall better than Conor and Conan.
