High school friend BA
A friend from high school and his wife have just welcomed a little girl! Caroline Jewell L. joins big sister Peyton.
WDYT of Peyton and Caroline, individually and as sisters? Personally, I'd rather it had been Peyton and Charlotte bc both popular atm, but hey, they can sing Sweet Caroline as a lullaby now! lol

Hi !!!
I much prefer Charlotte. Caroline seems dated.
Jewell? Why don't use simply Jewel? I can't stand variant names TT.
Peyton is a surname, a place name and also a name with an unknown meaning. Just horrible.
It always remind me python which would be better than Peyton for sure, at least Python has a meaning.

Love Sweet Caroline!
I don't think Peyton and Caroline go well together. I dislike Peyton. Caroline is very my style but not really a favourite. I like it, though, and am always happy to see it. Jewell I dislike. Jewel would be better but still not my style. It goes well with Peyton though. Do you know Peyton's middle name?

Nope! I'm not really that close to this guy; just on FB.
I don't think Peyton and Charlotte go together any better than Peyton and Caroline. Honestly I don't think popularity is often much of an indicator of if names are similar style.
I'm 'eh' about Caroline and not much a fan of Peyton.
Actually what really gets me here is the MN Jewell followed by a surname starting with L. That really ties up the tongue.

Caroline definitely got the best of that deal. It's not my style, as I find it has a heavy sound to my ear, but at least it's a nice classic. I'm willing to bet she'll be sick of Sweet Caroline before her 5th birthday even hits, though.
Peyton is an awful name, but I'm sure she's a lovely little girl who will wear it well and bring a classiness to it that the name doesn't necessarily have on its own.

She probably is; she loves Caroline already!
I absolutely destest Peyton. It sounds even worse on a girl. But Caroline is stunning. Definitely a step up. They sound sort of strange together imo but I guess it's manageable enough. (Not the most missed-matched set I've ever seen) It's just that...well poor Peyton.
My opinion would have been exactly the same if the name Charlotte had been used instead.
