Beautiful classic name, if my son had been a girl she would have been named Elisabeth Amelia.
It is common as a whole but not so popular amongst the younger generation in my area, I only know two under eighteens called Elizabeth one is seventeen the other around about ten

elizabeth is a family name for me. very common.
It's a great classic to me. I would consider using it because it is a family name (in various forms).

It's definately one of my favorites, spelled this way or Elisabeth or Elisabet. It's so classic and pretty and simple, and it hasn't been ruined by it's popularity. I especially like it as a first name, since I think it is more common as a mn, and there are so many options for nns. I love the meaning.
I've always loved this name. It's classic and pretty.
Well , i think it goes without saying but ill say it anyway.
ITS a fantastic name.
