Autumn
I didn't think about this name for a long time.
What are your thoughts on Autumn?

I think it's a nice, pretty name.
Sounds like the name of an American teenager in the 1970s, as do all season names.

I like it. It's my favorite season, probably my favorite of the seasonal names. It has a nice, soft sound which fits with the colorful quiet before winter comes.
I like it. Sound-wise, it’s similar to other “Au” names I enjoy, well not just those letters actually, Ondine, Otto, Oz, etc. and, because it doesn’t end in the “uh” sound, it feels very grounded to me. I enjoy the imagery it brings. One of my very favorite times of the year is the first morning, after a long, hot summer, when the air has turned crisp. I’m already looking forward to it.
I like the image but the sound is too blah IMO. Sounds like bottom.
I love Autumn.
I hate it. The sound of it makes me feel slightly nauseated, which is true of Aubrey and Audrey as well. That "Aaaawww" sound at the beginning is so retch-provoking. I'm glad that in the US we seldom use the word "autumn", instead saying "fall".
OMG, my son has told me that he and his partner considered the name Autumn for my granddaughter. ThankGodThankGodThankGodThankGodThankGod they decided against it.
ETA: If the word "autumn" didn't mean a pretty season, would anyone really like the name based upon its sound? It is not an attractive word. AAAW-dem. It sounds like an obscure Norse god or something like that.

I think it's very pretty, though I like Summer better.
