I think it's cute, but it reminds me of the town of Santa Clarita, which is full of ugly tract homes just as you drop into LA on the Grapevine. Not too picturesque. I love other -ita names, though. Teresita is my fave, but also like Luisita, Rita, and Anita.

Hmm. It's quite pretty. I think I prefer Clara, but I do like it.

I kind of like it. It seems friendly and cute. I guess in Spanish speaking countries it would be more of a nickname? But I think it can totally work on its own. I like Clara better personally but I would be excited to meet a Clarita :)

It's very interesting, that's for sure! I like most clar- names, and while there's nothing wrong with Clarita, I prefer the similar sounding Clarity.

I only think of Santa Clarita Diet. Which is a great show and they freaking canceled it stupid Netflix.

It's better than Clara, I guess.
Really, it sounds like a drink. Definitely a colorless drink, maybe a Sprite knockoff you can only buy in certain areas.
