Emma
Opinions on this name? Personally i think it is a little plain compared to the other Em- names i love.

Boring, but cute and classic as well.
I think it's nice, a classic
Like Ella, I find it rather flimsy and lacking in stature. My top Em- choice has always been Emily, and its recent popularity hasn't changed that.
A former colleague, trying to start a family, said that she would name a possible daughter Emma, which - she said - was "a silly little name" and smiled affectionately! I've no idea if she ever did - she emigrated to Australia with her husband and two sons, and we lost touch.

This is one of my least-favorite girls' names of all time, and it's beyond me why it is so popular. It's just a mumble.
Gotta hand it to the bearer who's trying to say her name, though...easy to say! lol
It has been in the US Top 10 for over 15 years, and #1 for the last several years. So, that (plus the sound, which seems a bit mumbly to me), makes it seem boring.
But, I think the meaning is stellar, and obviously, a lot of people like it. There are worse names.
...it reminds me slightly of Amy circa 1979.
